The road gave way under my truck today. Actualy the wooden culvert broke and slammed my bumber into the ground. The front dif was sitting on the dirt with one tire on the road and the other tire in the hole.
One of the guys in the truck took one look at the truck and said
"you have twisted the frame "
Well 15 minutes late I was out of the hole. I had a straight svcrew driver and used that to dig away the dirt under the front dif and pull a football sized rock out from under the dif.
After that ?
Well I put the truck in reverse and backed out. No twisted frame but I did get to drive home with an open header....and toilet paper stuffed in my ears. Got to hike too. Nice day except for the rain, which then turned to snow showers.
