You Assume much I'm afraid. That comment was meant as a slam at a friend (Fosters resto) I've owned more than my share of these trucks over the last 12 years and I appreciate all of them, even the over restored. However there is a point where money spent and money recieved becomes insane.
Advertising a Dodge PW for $65,000 that is not even finished is opening yourself up for comment's from old time collectors and new alike.
Spending that kind of money on a PW is for a VERY small group of collectors, not the large percentage of folks that frequent this board. You can attempt to compare it to the Hot rod car mania but it's just not the same thing, in damn near all respects a PW is like driving a tractor, work ethics and grease were what made these trucks important to us.
My opinions are well known as to what I consider a nice truck (I'm not a shy flower)
You can take a work horse and put a flower in it's mane but it's still a work horse and it's gonna look pretty silly just sitting in it's padded stall not getting dirty.
There's room for all of us in this hobby, trailer queens and all but I feel strongly about the fact that there are becoming too many trailer queens and I will be vocal about it.
Thanks for the offer to teach me how to fly but I am afraid of heights. Maybe I could teach you how to change a diaper and eat pizza at the same time?
