Interesting thing about the price, though.
Don’t be afraid to ask for the “car club” or “shop” price at UAP/NAPA.
That’s the discounted price they offer for encouraging regular customers to keep coming back.
Fer instance... On my invoice, the listed “PRICE” for the oil filter is $19.70.
But the “NET” cost is $14.04.
Add in the GST (7%) and PST (8%), makes for a grand total of $16.14.
If the counter folks start knitting their brows and quiz you about your club name, just make one up if you have to.
Ohhhh... I don’t know…something like the “Mon Dieu Tabernacle Power Wagon Choir” sounds convincing enough ;)
