Try soaking the edge in Castrol Purple Cleaner. Make a troff to set the edge into and let it soke for a few days. I had some Transfer Case Mounts that no way could I get the bolts and inner tubes out of. Thru them in a pan of the cleaner and the rubber broke down to a gummy substance and they came right out. Worth a try at about 3-4.00 a gal and it won't hurt glass. Mark H.
