I was doing some looking and checking under the '47 Power Wagon yesterday. I have another PTO I would like to put on the passenger side of the trans. When I crawled under the truck to look, I noticed the front driveshaft is quite close to the side of the trans, and it dont look like the PTO will fit.... Is there a trick to getting this second PTO to work? or am I just out of luck here? I recall reading sometime in the late 40's the transfer case mounting angle was 'revised' on these trucks. Perhaps of the transfer case was mounted differently The PTO would fit? Thanks for the help.
