Hey guys,

I was curious if there are any old style Brownie gear boxes that would give an over drive\direct\underdrive, kinda like the old 5&4 that would be found in an early peterbilt or Kenworth, that could be mounted between the transmission and transfer case. I have access to and old wrecking yard that has pile auxillery or aftermarket overdrive boxes that could be used on my PW. But what would fit and work efficently.

I come from the old school attitude of using the older technologyso was wondering if there was an alternative to the Denmen or Gear Vender overdrive boxes. Might take some modifications.

Our 1919 Model T Ford touring has a Warford 3- speed boxthat would have been used inthe 1-ton Model T trucks. With the Warford and a High compression head she will cruise all day long at 55 mph.

Thanks,

Chris Becker
