For Oregon, it's 25 years, a one time fee of $50 (last I remember), and limited to rally and show driving. Liability insurance required. So it's up to the cops to interpret how you are using the vehicle. I asked the DMV about it for my '53 Chevy sedan as well as the '53 B3 Power Wagon, suggesting there is a daily antique car rally at work every morning, but they didn't go for that idea. Maybe I'll try it on one just to find out the trade offs. Sure is cheaper registration.
