Here in CO, it's 25 years old for "Collector's Series" tags, that have a five year registration period. It's before 1950 manufacture date for "Antique" tags.
To get Collector's tags, the vehicle now has to pass an emission test(if in emissions area) the first time registered by the owner, none thereafter. I don't know about Antique tags, never had one.
A friend of mine just "Collector" tagged his 1980 Plymouth Arrow. It's amusing seeing it with Collector's tags.
