Speedo Information?

Hey you guys how do you get the speed needle indicator off without damage? Also if you switched speedo's from a 4.89 truck to a 5.83 truck is everthing going to be right? I am trying to put a nice speedo face on the speedo that goes with my truck. The nice faced one is off a 5.83 truck and my truck has the 4.89's Thanks Fleabag!!
