Dennis, I have a Ford 8N that had the same problem and it turned out to be a buildup of chaf and dirt in the cooling fins between the first and second row of cores so you couldn't see it by looking at the outside but you could not see lite when looking from the grill to the fan, removed the radiator and soaked it with a hose then used a power washer to blow the crud out. Now you can see through the cooling fins and the engine runs cool. Put a trouble lite next to the fan and see if you can see lite in the front by the grill. Gene
