By reveresing the top tank you'll move the core forward. Or maybe turn the radiator support around, bolt rad to front? I had a Carryall that had been converted to a long block. They moved the whole assembly forward at the frame and added a 2 inch strip to back of 'nose piece'. I sold it in 1992, so I don't recall all the details, except solder on the nose.
