I am running a 1-4 psi pump on it. Yes I can run the pump with the top off and did that to check the level and seal on the float needle. Worked great and shuts off properly (nice thing about electric ones)I am begining to wonder if the parts inside the carb are working right since it seems to dump fuel on the lower RPMs but fine on the high RPMs. Not a problem with the Idle jet being out of adjustment either. I can close it off and it still runs. It just starts to load up till it stalls then it will fowl the plugs. Mark H.
