Ron,

Yes the bearing was tough to get off the rod, and left pieces on the crank and rod both. Yea, no noise from the engine, just the Transfer case and intermediate shaft hitting the cab.

I put the oil pan back on and unloaded the truck behind the garage for the summer, no easy way to get it into the pole barn with out a tractor.

I'll do the re-build in the fall after i get the M37 going so I have something to drive. This isn't working out too well, I had two trucks so I could enjoy one and work on the other, now I've got none to drive and two to work on.

Yea, for Iowa I'll be in the Red '46. Headed to Pop's to get it this weekend. Will need to use my windshield and carb on it and fix it's leaky break cylinder. I'll also wire the lights, but other than that it's ready. I guess when I take it back Pop will enjoy it more as it will be in better shape, but he ain't getting my windshield though, ha ha.

TN in the fall, sounds like a good start for the M!
