It cost me $2400 to have a 230 rebuilt and balenced 5 years or so ago. But I did'nt clean the engine or disassemble, or assemble. I just dropped the engine and flywheel off at the machine shop. Picked it up when they were done with it. I know better now, and have the tools to do my own assembly, disassembly. Seems to just take the parts that need machining to the shop saves quite a bit of loot.
