I have stock diffs the 251 seems to have more RPMs and longer leggs but not the low end torque of my 230 powered WDX with 583s. The problem with the 251 is you can quickly out drive your steering and braking. The NDTs with combat wheels do not make for a really high speed combination. I need new tires. I have a set of new NDts on the dead WC51 I got last fall but am thinking about the superlugs or maybe the Power kings as they are much better on the hard surface roads I am on most of the time and still provide good off road use. All though
NDTs are king in West Texas scrub. They look good as well but are not good on wet hard surface roads. I want the truck to maintain its military look but am unsure what is the best course with this truck.
