The 9 is something I have found on a bunch of the reimported WM300s at VPW, I think it is an export only thing.
As for the year, the sequential number part of the VIN on the export WM300s gets weird.
I would wonder what the winch number is on this truck, I would bet 1965 or 1966, as the rim date codes, etc have shown some of the trucks with about the same serial number to be from that era.
The problem is that the decoder has a hard time with weird numbers that do not follow a pattern, and Phil and I still have not found any info about what the numbers should be according to Chrysler, so we are stuck with guesswork until more data is found.
