Just offering some possible assistance. I have quite a few contacts in the stamping business that might be able to help with production costs (can't help with the capital recovery!!). I would need tooling details. I assume you are using either a stretch draw or roll form, as a crash form would be hard to control on such a large, flat panel. Also, from the pictures, it looks like you are using cold rolled. The sources I would be suggesting would be buying master coils in either E.G. or hot dipped class A and slitting for cross applications. Could this type of material be used in your tools - galv. flaking, etc? Some of this material is bake hardenable or the new dual phase, so there could be springback issues. Let me know if I can help.
