Well, even your M43 will someday wear replacement parts that are made in Japan and elswhere. Many small parts are just not bein gmade in the USA anymore, and ytou may have no choice but to use some if you want to continue to drive your vehicle.

Don't buy a Napco carb kit, made in Japan. Don't buy Denman MDT's, made in Meheeco! Carter fuel pump, made in Canada. Fram fuel filter, made in Israel. Nuts and bolts made in Bangaladesh, and the list goes on.

Many replacement parts are now being manufactured overseas. Unless you can find and buy nothing but NOS parts, I think your words will come back to haunt you someday.

I beg to differ, but I will never own another late model Dodge again. Junk IMO. My next late model vehicle is going to be the best value and quality I can buy for my money. No longer am I going to rule out foreign vehicles. For I too once thought your way. Of late though, "buy American" is becoming a shallow pool.
