As the price nears the break even point for new technology, we will see coal or shale into gas. Corn oil is already going into Bio-diesel, ethanol from corn is already added to gas. In the mean time, the earth is making fossil fuels faster than we are finding it- but then we already know where 100 years worth of it is. It's all a matter of politics- will Greenies let us drill off California? in Alaska? North Sea? China sea? Do you think Con-Agra wants more wells, or more Ethanol from corn? Who is for or against more refineries in California? More Nuclear plants?

See, we have plenty of energy, and too much politics to wash it down with. But I do believe when the public REALLY wants cheap energy, we'll get it.
