My brother and I drove his M-37 from Lansing Michigan 60 miles to Battle Creek. The Great Lakes MVPA had a meet there on the Fort Custer grounds.

Just after we entered the base, we drove past a guy in a big Ford 4X4 who was delivering porta potties. He was buried in the sand and could not get out. So we figured we could tow him out with M37. Well we just spun all four wheels and could not drag him out.

About then, an Army Hummer shows up and they are all confident that they can pull him out. Well, not so. They just spun their four wheels and started burying themselves.

So we told them to get that thing out of there and we would winch the guy out. They hooked their Hummer to the M-37 for weight, then we did winch the guy out.

So the old iron got the job done. No still pictures of this because I was too busy shooting it on video. The picture here is on one of the trails on Fort Custer.

This is a real nice meet, great guys and a nice site. Plus you get to show the Army guys how the old stuff worked. Attend if you get a chance.
