The stuff is white and pretty thin out of the jug (skim milk) As it cures, it turns black. It does not go on thick. Flows pretty good. Dries hard, not like undercoat. Can sand any runs off after dry and paint over. I have used this on sheet metal for pits and bondo,primed,painted over it with very good results.
