I purchased a 63WM300 a few years ago, which I am now putting a 318 into. When I purchased the truck, I was told the original 251 had been replaced with a 230 out of an Air Force tow motor. I believe this may have been wrong, and that it is a 251. The valve cover is 25.5" long. The #03086 is stamped at the oil fill neck and the #11045 is stamped in the valve cover. Can anyone help identify this engine? If anyone is interested in buying it, it runs well and is complete, including carb, oil bath air cleaner, bellhousing, etc. It is located in Lancaster, PA.
