To convert to neg ground, reverse wires on amp meter, coil, and battery. Then 'polarise' the regulator by disconnecting hot lead at reg and momentarily touch to F (?) lug.

Or convert truck to 12v: battery, alternator, light bulbs, ballast resistor at coil, resistor for heater motor, and reverse the wiring as in 1st paragraph. I like 3 wire alt system, it puts 13.8 to battery instead of only output at alternator.
