I found that the Dodge Spec which was designed for the bushing has no application when changing to top bearings. It would be nearly impossible to get the spec torque on swing of the knuckle with bearings. Bearings make it swing so much easier. In honesty, there is no spec for top bearings since it is not a Dodge Authorized application. You want to tighten the knuckle top plate tight so there is no play, yet not over loading the bearing. When the preload is reasonable on the bearing, you would probably have to use a Inch Pound Torque wrench to measure the torque on the knuckle while swinging it side to side.

This is something that experience will tell you when you are tight enough.
