1976 W300

I'm going to have a look at a 1976 W300 cab and chassis tomorrow morning that's for sale nearby. It's a former fire truck with 38,000 miles, a 440 automatic, and power takeoff. I'm not sure which front and rear axles it has. The body is supposed to be good with no rust on the floors or cab mounts. Has anyone had a truck similar to this that could pass on any advice on what to look for or on any problem areas on the truck?
