Try silicone grease on assembly? I't's the best for plastic....Otherwise , maybe put one in each way, seal dirt out, seal grease in, that's the way double lip seals work. Check your vent, make sure TC isn't building pressure. What kind of oil- somehting that outgasses, making pressure? How much, should be pinky-tip below fill plug?
