I got a phone call from a guy (Whom I have never met ) who is willing to sell me a 50 ? power wagon rolling frame less two wheels. Not only that he will truck it from Hope to Vancouver for a 100 buck total. The only problem is I am a ferry ride away from Vancouver and am missing a trailer. Now I could try to take it apart on some side street in Vancouver and wrestle the parts into the back of my truck, but what if the bolts do not come lose? There is a certain amount of humour to stripping a truck frame down on the side of the road but I am not sure I could get all the parts in my truck without some sort of sky crane which would cost money. The only reason I would buy the thing is because it is cheap, so if i have to pay to get it loaded it aint cheap any more. Plus the frame is a tad long to fit in my 77 chev bush bomb.
I could try and do the same thing on some side street in North Vancouver but if I had to leave some parts behind would Marty get the blame ??
I am not sure what to do. I mean do I really want this stuff ?
