I also have a 57 and have noticed the same thing, it is kind of an orphaned year. I have several army technical manuals that pertain to different components. I have gotten them all from VPW. There are manuals for other years that are basically the same for the 57, alot of stuff just didnt change. (last time I said that I got a whuppin here but I am a slow learner) Ask Steve at VPW and he should be able to reccomend alot that will work for you. They do make for some good reading. Do you ever make it south to Burlington Vt? Give me a shout if you do, I am 1/2 hour from Burlington.
