A WC-53 is a 3/4 ton Carryall and there was no non window version made that I know of.
The 1/2 ton Carryall like a WC-26 was pretty much the same as the WC-11 Panel seen above, except the WC-11 had no windows, and panel doors instead of clamshell doors.
There were also later Boyertown bodied Power Wagon Ambulances, in any case an image of what you found would help us ID what you found.
I know Joe had an image of a Boyertown ambulance, but they have a much more square body then the WC-53.
