Well that's something to look forward to ....
Since fuel here is abou 85% tax, and we do have a lot of wells in the north sea, we actually MAKE money every time it goes up. It's likely that if the raw cost of fuel doubled they would just adjust the tax down by 10% to keep the overall cost to the motorist pretty much the same.
I work in the oil industry anyway, so higher prices = more work = more money to spend on fuel for my Dodges.
