86 was probably the same as the late 70's. Remove radiator, a/c stuff,grill and rad support. Then you need a cherry picker that is about the right height, the boom has to enter about level, or jack up the truck so boom enters under the dash. Or dissassemble to short block, but you probably don't want to with your used in-bound motor. Nice puzzle, have fun!
