This pickup has a mean 318 that I built back in 1974 and I put 2.76 rear gears in it and it gets just a tad over 20 mpg. The instrument panel that you see is out of a C-800 and therefore the tach is mechanical. I put a Holley distributor out of a 59 D-800 in it and it looks neat when the engine is running. I always meant to replace the air pressure gauge with a vacuum gauge out of a Dodge school bus. In one picture you will see a large cable and that is from the distributor to the tach.
