Grease fitting on top to get lube directly onto the bronze cone. I don't have a manual handy but I would assume someone (like I did) would pack the u joint by hand before the knuckle was closed up. Assume is a bad word, certainly for a military manual. What does the manual say for reassembly of ujoint. Also I thought that dispenser was a grease gun. And what do they mean by semi-fluid? Like Paul's syrup (gear oil), or a bit thicker like general purpose grease we put in grease guns, not the short fiber wheel bearing stuff that comes in a bucket instead of a tube? I guess we really are confused.
