There have been many people just like you in the community who have come and gone. This is what usally happens...
They get a decent truck, and have ambitions of a full on restoration, so with much vim and vigor they completely dismantle a fine truck.
Suddenly the $ invested in the project goes up, someone loses interest, the motovation just goes away and it becomes more like work to get this truck together than fun.
It goes up for sale as a project and you are going to take a serious loss on what $ you have into it, and you may have never driven it.
My advice, just get it running, driving, stopping properly. Put a blanket on the seat if you need to, and drive it around for a year. Fix things as you need to in that time, then decide if you need to do a full tear down restoration on it.
Id be willing to bet you will find another Power Wagon in that year's time, and you could be restoring on, while driving the other.
