Yesterday was my 32nd birthday. Dad labored in secret for weeks to resurrect my Model A from its 14-year slumber in the barn. It was exactly 20 years ago that he brought home a Model A engine and said, "We are going to build you a car."

He accomplished more in the last six weeks thant I did during tke six years I was drioving and workigng on it. It has a new motor that cackles like a kitten. It steers with less than 3/4 turn of play in the steering. It now has front brakes and an emergency brake-all things it never had before.

I can't wait to take it to Potawaomti April 16. I'll have to go easy, as I remember the axle keys shear pretty easily. I'm excited to see if the "Manual Traction Control" will help. It has an e-brake on the left wheel only and the service brake will be adjusted tighter on the right wheel.
