But I guess your engine is still in the chassis. Sounds like a PITA, how are you gonna retrieve the old ones, as they fall into the pan? And how about the rear one, it gets punched out the back into the flywheel? I don't think that I'd want to change 3 out of 4, the unsupported rear end would cause rapid wear, or a broken cam.

Maybe Auto Zone rents those?

I've changed them in a shade tree situation with a punch and a seal driver, but that was a stripped block. How was your oil pressure with the old cam?
