I was browsing Paul's album and saw the note that you are considering a Diesel conversion.
Are you considering 6 or 4 cylinder? I think I found a way to put a 6bt in and make it look good. This is a doctored photo, but I have already built a frame that is 9" longer. I decided to use a Chrysler straight eight, but the 6bt is almost exactly the same length. I will be hanging M37 springs under my modifed frame soon. The long engine is already in place. We'll see how the springs go. So far the frame was a lot easier than you might think.
Did you see the truck I'm parting out below? Need anything?
The 4bt is a nice practical motor, in fact I am looking for one to put in my Wagoneer.
