David, there were only two transmission techs in eastern Idaho that knew how to work and rebuilt the Hydro-matic tranny. As per adjustments from the outside, I have not a clue. At the time when I rebuilt mine, you could get kits for the front part, but I had three extra parts trannies to get the job done. I do have a lot of extra parts, but it is usually the same parts that are worn out. I would contact Memphis Equipment, they would be the foremost commercial expert on that series of trannmission.
