After removing your locking ring, (and still want to do them "youself"), our local tire shop has a machine with a "tongue" that comes out of the side of the machine where they can break down oversize tires.
(I take a pizza and/or soda with me and I usually don't get charged).
Be sure to used an approved safety cage and a air nozzle with a hose to re-inflate the tire.
