I have flown AW a couple of times. Very good experience for me. My neighbor pilots for them. Sounds more like it was an airport problem. That sounds strange about the x-ray since Dillingham has machines. The whole building area is not much bigger than a couple rooms in most homes.
I sat (along with others)for about 2 hours in a Delta flight once waiting for repairs. Got off, got back on and waited another hour. Got off again and ended up being 10 hours late taking off. That was not a very good flight home but I am flying with them again in May.
