I aquired a 1941 G506 a couple of weeks ago.
The cab is very close in size to the Dodge,and like the WC and FFPW the cab started out as a commercial model. The military Chevrolet and GMC windshield is hinged like the 1941 WC and will push straight out level.Like Jonas truck, mine has the GM built "banjo axles. They're massive and the hubs are huge. The frame is possibly a tad heavier than the FFPW. My truck is early enough to have the commercial dashboard and has "Chevorlet" stamped into the hood side panels.
