Hopefully it will be finished tomorrow & I'll post more pictures.
The firewall will all be welded. It's quite a job really...he builds a template in aluminum first, then forms the actual doghouse & fits it all, then the cab comes off & he welds everything.
Not sure about cost yet but I'll let you know. Cost is irrelevant to me at this point as long as it is perfect.
Russ had a great idea with the wheelbarrow but it's so tight for room in this thing it would never work. Barely any room for a gas pedal & you have the cowl vent & linkage right above it.
It would have been nice to move everything forward a few inches but there's just no room...I still need to fit an intercooler up front which means the rad has to move towards the engine.
I'm having a custom charge air cooler built in Gadsden, Alabama.
What would we do without the Internet?
