Found this ad in the Want advertiser, a New England based
weekly ad magazine:

Sounds good, huh? Well, I called to find out exactly what it was... From his description, it is a 1/2 ton truck, not a 3/4 tonner as the 43 date would make it. Titled year is wrong
He says the model is a wc-25... That would be a 1/2 onner, made in 41 or 42??? Apparently, it began life as a
1/2 ton command car, and someone added a closed cab to it...
However, the rear area for the passengers is there.(ie rear seat) But, the trunk area is missing, hence the "PU" description
in the ad... So, a hacked up Command car made into a closed cab
truck leaving the rear seats????
ANyway, he says it runs very well...
Anyone interested in further investigation, go for it....
I havent even looked at it, I just talked to him on the phone..
Who knows, maybe it could be brought back to the command car
it once was....
If anyone looks into this further, let us know....
