From what I can tell by reading through old Dodge truck brochures and Dodge truck books, dual carb and exhaust systems were an option on 265 engines from 1953 (possibly 1952) to 1959. These were found as an option to the single carb/exhaust 265's in the 600 series trucks and school buses which were two ton models. Another unique feature on these dual carb units was an extra large vibration dampner. HP rating on a dual carb/exhaust unit in 1959 was 141. Carbs were Carter E9K1 52-54 and E9Y1 54-59. I believe compression ratio was 7.0-1.
