This post is not intended to offend anyone even though it probably will.
I always figured that being precise was not only a very important part of enjoying a hobby dealing with restoring vintage vehicles,
but also a sense of pride in being accurate.
When putting your motor together or rubbing out that soon to be pristine paint job, precision and perfection is the desired result.
It would be very difficult to order parts for your truck, if you don't call it by its right name.
I would certainly not want to call my 53 PW B-4-126, a WC or a M-37.
Because if I did, I would feel most people who knew better would think of me as ignorant.
I figured that most of the people that enjoy these types of vehicle would be a, "one country, one language", type.
Back in the spring, when I first found this website, I was so new to this hobby that I did not know that there was a diffrence between WC's,
M-37's, PW's, etc.
This was very much due to the way some people on this site refer to these trucks.
During my search for a Power Wagon, I spent a lot of time making phone calls to answer posts that claimed to be selling a, "M-37 Power Wagon".
It was when I recieve photos from one of these, "M-37 Power Wagon", owners did I realize the M-37 is not what I was looking for.
I then e-mailed a fellow N.J. Power Wagoneer to inquire about the different trucks that people call Power Wagons.
He replied with some very informative text.
I have chocked it up to part of the learning process, but I still know that if the proper titles were used, I would not have wasted so much time.
I would not call my 66 Impala a Biscayne, Belair, or a Caprice. Why would I want to use the wrong title for my Power Wagon???
Try teaching your children using confusing or conflicting terms and titles.
I hope we are trying to use this site to teach each other about these trucks that might be in the same family, but certainly have different names.

Joe, Thanks again for the hard work, and the great website.
Please e-mail me privately if you have nothing constructive to say!!!
