The benign view is the ignorant have not yet studied Dodges well enough to realize the differences but are willing to learn. They are interested in knowledge and will absorb detailed information if pointed to it. They appreciate the shorthand accurate model desginations can provide in communications but don't yet know the correct shorthand terms.
They deserve our understanding and encouragement.
The apathetic don't care to learn and don't value accuracy or precision in speech or action. They do not, for example, think location is relevant when selling large items. Discussion to them consists mostly of fielding clarifying questions (what truck are you talking about?.. where do you live?...) so they are clueless that communication is possible at higher data content levels and that model names and numbers can be used to impart information densely. Gentle corrections ignite and offend them because it brings their careless communication habits to light or exposes the BS they are trying to peddle. Their defense is invective without fact. Though the apathetic occassionally may have a valuable contribution that advances knowledge of and about our beloved Dodge 4X4 trucks, the difficulity they experience in accurately describing something may lead to frustration when trying to impart that knowledge to others. If you expect to live a long life and have a deep resevior of patience, you may wish to try to establish communications with the apathetic.
