Need you folks opinion on a PW I just looked at.
1966 WM300. Former Seattle Power and Water vehicle.
Box and tailgate. Original winch with ?capstan.
Very small hoist in right rear section of box. New tires and brakes.
Reads 14,000 miles but odometer broke 7 years ago when this 3rd owner bought it.
Body painted tan with black fenders over original orange-yellow paint.
Minimal surface rust. Underneath too.Said he goes through seals alot.
Drives and stops good. Drove it around town. Gets alot of attention it seems. First time I ever drove a PW.
Bouncy ride and my size 13 work boot had a hard time negotiating between the pedals.
Smaller cab than my '49 3/4 Dodge.
He's asking $7000. Average price? Too high? Which seals typically go and are they hard to replace?Appreciate
your thoughts.
