they did have the nameplates on both sides and yes they did use leftover milatary parts mine also has the holes on the lower hood sides also if you look at the drivers side firewall should be a punch out for the milatary wiring harness the leftover cabs were used to.also the axles were od paint and firewall. my truck has all of that. my wdx is a calif made truck sn(88750040)
