Come early to the auction like about 2 hours early. Look at the people wondering around, the schil will ussually hang around the auction provided canteen and not be viewing the items. Also the schill will ussually have a LOW bid number like before 10. And look at people that should not be the ussual people there for that particular auction. i.e. a man dressed in dress pants at a farm auction were everyone else is in Carharts. Also see what people are buying most people will buy more than just one thing at an auction, but the schill will have nothing purchased. Also look for clues from the auctioneer himself as the schill will get bored and wonder and then the item in which needs to be bid up is comming up and the auctioneer seeing the schill is not in place will make several anouncments about the upcomming item were he has not made that type of announcment before in the auction, or he may even tip his hand and call the shill by name, like "hey Jerry the shot gun you traveld 200 miles for is comming up". There are a lot of signs, but you have to go to a lot of auctions to pick up on this and not let yourself get caught up in the auction frenzy. The schill magic act will take place. All slight of hand.
