I knew my Power Wagon had a rather hefty front bumper. However, yesterday I found out just how hefty it is. I had my PW backed into the driveway to unload a large electric motor I was given. Since it was raining for the first time since early June, I didn't fool with turning it around but left it sitting.

About 3:30 p.m. yesterday, I was working third shift and asleep when I heard a large thump. My dog went crazy like someone was trying to break in (heaven help them if they ever do and she gets a hold of them). It woke me up and I layed there for a bit until I heard voices. When I looked out the window, there was a late model Ford pickup spread across my driveway.

The front of the Ford was stove in pretty badly. The radiator was mashed into the engine fan and the truck had to be towed off. My front bumper is made out of 1/4 or 3/8 inch thick angle iron with welded gussets at the frame juncture. I'm not sure but I think there may be a couple of scratches. It's hard to tell though.
